  10.        The changes to the InfoSearch product since release 1.0 are
  11.        as follows:

  13.           +o As of release 3.x and beyond, the InfoSearch "client"
  14.             is a process that simply launches your desktop web-
  15.             browser (as specified in the Toolchest->Desktop-
  16.             >Customize->Utilities panel).

  18.           +o Major UI cleanup and redesign.
  19.  
  20.           +o Improved navigation; searching and browsing are now
  21.             combined.
  22.  
  23.           +o Improved/faster index creation.
  24.  
  25.           +o Browsing and searching by sub-categories is now
  26.             supported.

  28.           +o The search result sorting algorithm is now by score,
  29.             which is much more robust than in previous versions.

  31.           +o The Help and "How Do I" information is now folded into
  32.             the Online Books domain.

  34.           +o Initial changes for searching multiple document
  35.             "collections."

  37.           +o You may wish to utilize the content present on the SGI

  41.           +o A web browser such as _n_e_t_s_c_a_p_e(1) can be used to
  42.             contact any available InfoSearch "server". Simply point
  43.             your browser at the requested server URL; such as:
  44.             http://<hostname>/infosearch/. Substitute the name of
  45.             the server containing InfoSearch content for
  46.             <hostname>.
